How to make your Desktop Icons Transparent

  • Click Start
  • Click Control Panel Icon
  • Click System Icon
  • Once you are in the System, choose Advanced tab
  • In the Performance Area > Click Settings button
  • In Visual Effects tab "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the Desktop"
  • Then Click the OK button then click the OK button again
